Smart Demo 2005 – Victoria Park, Adelaide 29-30 September 2005
 |
Transmax, in conjunction with
Queensland Transport, exhibited at the Smart Demo 2005 Conference at Victoria Park in Adelaide. The
aim of the conference was to present the latest technical innovations aimed at enhancing vehicle
safety, security and efficiency. The conference focused on in-car ITS technology as opposed to
on-road ITS technology which has traditionally been Transmax’s core business. The stand gained
a lot of attention from delegates and other exhibitors, and Dave was busy demonstrating STREAMS
over the two days. Car manufacturers and other players in the telematics industry involved in
disseminating information to motorists were keen to discover more about STREAMS as it can provide the type of information required to inform drivers of road conditions and hazards ahead.

Demands” and attracted attention from visitors from
all over the country. Session 4: Freight and Consultation
Priority was sponsored by Transmax and STREAMS, with Kim Thomas
chairing the session.
The Transmax stand was visited by both inter-state and Queensland
delegates, and resulted in numerous leads and opportunities
for STREAMS.

2004 11th World Congress on ITS – Nagoya, Japan
18-24 October 2004 |
Transmax, formally
known as ITSQ, demonstrated STREAMS on the international stage
for the first time at the 11th ITS World Congress in Nagoya,
Japan. The ITSQ stand formed part of the ITS Australia booth,
and generated a lot of interest in STREAMS from both international
and Australian visitors.
"The integrated approach that is the
basic philosophy of STREAMS development appears to be the
way forward for the ITS industry", commented one visitor.
Many of the visitors to the ITSQ stand were impressed by the
STREAMS architecture particularly when they saw STREAMS working
in the field and not just on paper.
