Transmax win iAwards in two categories The Australian Computer Society (ACS) and the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) have joined forces to deliver the 2011 iAwards. The iAwards is the leading awards program for Australian technology innovators. Transmax are honoured to have been named the Queensland state winners in the categories of e-Government and Tools & Infrastructure. As state winners, Transmax were nominated for the National iAwards held in Melbourne over the 2nd and 3rd August 2011. Transmax were again successful in both categories and received the national iAwards for e-Government and Tools & Infrastructure. Introduction of a Smart Transport CentreWednesday 22nd September, 2010 Move to interconnect the Queensland road network and gather traffic information and statistics. Transmax in Urban Superway WinThe $812M South Road Superway project is about to get underway, signifying the largest single investment in a South Australian road project to date. This project will mark the second stage of the north-south corridor upgrade, and will be the state’s most complex engineering road construction project thus far. Transmax joined John Holland, McMahon, Leed and GHD in an Urban Superway Consortium to bid for the opportunity to deliver all project requirements, from civil engineering to Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). On 5 November 2010, South Australia Department of Transport Energy and Infrastructure officially announced the Urban Superway Consortium as their preferred project supplier. Transmax is proud to contribute to this innovative project, by providing project management, ITS consulting services and a fully integrated enterprise traffic management system (STREAMS).
