QUT and UQ Careers Fairs- Brisbane, March
In March the QUT and UQ Careers Fairs were run, and Transmax attended with Rob Hodges- Engineer and Armin Kappes- Business Development Manager. Rob and Armin talked to many students about Transmax and the STREAMS software, including our Graduate program.
Intertraffic - Amsterdam, March 23 - 26
Transmax recently attended Intertraffic in Amsterdam. This 4 day global event included over 800 exhibitors from 40 countries worldwide. Transmax gained keen interest and was represented by John Lees- Managing Director, Mike Watts- Services Group Manager and Olivia Law- Marketing Manager.
6th Annual Australian Roads Summit - Brisbane, March 4 - 5
Transmax attended the 6th Annual Australian Roads Summit in Brisbane. This two day event focused on addressing key issues in the development, funding and use of roads infrastructure in Australia.
Inaugural Australian ITS Summit – Melbourne, November 2009
The inaugural Australian ITS Summit was held in November 2009. Transmax was represented by John Lees - Managing Director, Dave Johnston - Business Development Manager; and Olivia Law - Marketing Manager. This event brought together representatives from State and Federal Governments to review a vision document and formulate an ITS Action Plan.
STREAMS generated considerable interest throughout the summit from many delegates and international visitors.
2nd Annual Road and Transport Engineering Conference – Brisbane, November 2009
Transmax was proud to be an exhibit sponsor at the 2nd Annual Road and Transport Engineering Conference in Brisbane. Dave Johnston, Business Development Manager represented Transmax at the conference, which aimed to identify alternative methods of procurement and highlight the different approaches available.
University Graduate Information Days
Transmax attended the recent University of Queensland (UQ) and Queensland University of Technology (QUT) graduate information days. Jonathan Johansen, who joined us as a new graduate in 2007 teamed up with Dave Johnston, Business Development Manager to answer the many questions posed by aspiring students.
InterTraffic Amsterdam 2008
In 2008, Transmax attended the InterTraffic Congress in Amsterdam, Holland. With an audience of over 25,000 professional visitors and exhibitors, STREAMS generated notable interest from European, Middle Eastern and South African companies and traffic authorities. Feedback from STREAMS demonstrations indicated STREAMS is one of the few systems in the world to achieve full integration combining software, hardware and data communications.
Australian Roads Summit 2008
Transmax exhibited STREAMS at the 2008 Australian Roads Summit, held at the Sydney Convention Centre. Hot topics at this year's conference were integrated systems managing entire transport networks from a holistic perspective. The Transmax representatives, Dave Johnston and Jillian Hodgson, were kept busy by many interested parties from Australia, New Zealand, and further abroad.
