STREAMS can run on many different workstation configurations. In order to achieve optimal performance, Transmax suggests the below minimum system requirements for a computer to run STREAMS efficiently.
STREAMS System Requirements
- Intel P4 or better
- 2GB Ram
- 5GB Disk Space
- 10/100 Network Card
- DVD-Rom drive
- SVGA display (1280x1024 minimum for both dimensions)
- Dual Screens recommended
- Windows XP Professional SP2 or Windows Vista Business SP1
- Microsoft Office 2003 or 2007
- Adobe 5.0 or later
In addition when using STREAMS to view one or two low quality video streams at a time the following are required:
- NVidia GFX Card 8 or 9 series
- 10GB Hard Drive
- DVD-/+RW
In addition when using STREAMS to view high quality or multiple video streams at one time the following are required:
- Intel Core 2 Quad
- 3GB Ram
- Nvidia 8600GT+ or Quadro FX560+
- Gigabit Ethernet
- 80GB Hard drive space
